What breeds have you combined for the big fast growth? I'm a bit surprised about the delaware, since I never thought they were large birds

we do .we have some old strain and new imported lines.
bought fertile eggs last breeding season ,but none of them hatched . I will try to buy adult cockerels this time . I m looking for a good cross ,friend of mine has made a good cross .trying to get few cockerels from him .

I do have a bantam NN rooster . he is a cross between Silky and something else , 5 toes .black eyes and Frizzle feathers .
I m thinking breeding him to my F1 Marneck pullets ,I have few that are small type .lay nice grey/green eggs

his name is Frank . he think ,he is top dog and he carry him self like one .roost on the top bar .

Nice birds, everyone. Any one interested in keeping bantam NN's going? Dunlap is the only hatchery I see that sells them presently.

We are at our limit at this point & have no plans on adding anymore for a few years.

Hatched out four necked necks this weekend! Already have three so this will make a nice little flock of 7 as long as they don’t all end up being roosters!

Does anyone have a favorite hatchery in the US for turkens? I'm ordering more next year at the latest and want to get a few different bloodlines so they aren't all related

I think Hoover hatchery also has them. But I don’t know what they look like.

I've read that Cackle has good Turkens.

That's where my young four came from. I usually try not to get them though because my straight runs are almost always 90-100% males.
