The peacomb really show's up in that last picture.

Thanks! So hers is a peacomb. Is pullet 1 a peacomb too? Or something different?

It also look's to have the 3 row's of the peacomb comb, but the center one isn't as pronounced as that other one is.

I’d guess Rufus has a straight comb without the blue egg gene. Which is fine for adding the Na gene to brown egg laying breeds. His 2 sisters have pea combs and may have the blue egg gene. Also. Is there such a thing as a black chicken with yellow legs?

Oh that’s a bummer. The straight comb means he likely doesn’t carry the blue egg gene?
Even if he doesn’t he’s not a total loss. He’s a backup for his dad.
His sisters I’m hoping for mint/light green eggs. Later I will be adding a French black tailed red marans for darker green eggs.
