Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Oh and please note my avatar-penelope the nekid rat. Don't know what it is about nekid I find so endearing-something about the back of a little bald pink head? We have a pink nekid cat also......as well as Miss Puff the nekid ratty. Besotted, just besotted.

just hatched a naked neck out of a green egg. Please let it be a pullet!

I know, it makes me ridiculously happy : )
Hatching in cartons for me is more of a space issue than anything else. Eggs take up less space 'upright' than they do laying on their side on the wire. This week I have two hatchers going. The big hatcher is almost full with cartons and a LG-full of eggs laying on their sides on the wire ( I put all my Rock and Am' eggs in the LG hatcher this week, so no panic of being able to tell *pure* chicks from *project* chicks ).
Third chick out is another Fm NN Green-Egger --- not smut black skin, but still Fm.

Day 21 doesn't begin until midnight tonight, so these first out are just eager : )

Fibromelanotic / Fm = Black skin, meat, bones; sometimes in varying degrees.

Pretty white Naked Neck Silkie!!!! I'd guess girl as well.

Casa Nudo! used to have hairless rats too, very nearly adopted a Xolo dog. for me they simply make me smile.
