Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Just the general color of him is different from the rest... Never had chickens before. Always wanted to but never had the place to be able to do so. But my DH and I just perchased ten acres and I was able to fulfill my dream of having a small farm! Anywho my 14 baby's came along and they all have at least one other that has the same coloring except that little bugger... And sence I've never seen that color before just thought I'd ask. He/she is darker then a buff but not as dark as the reds and plus it has brown white gold stripes on its wings so just didn't know what color they called he/she?

And yes their cute but my DH thinks their ugly with a capital U and says they hit every branch on the fall from the ugly tree! Lmao

Yes they are all naked necks! There was originally 17, unfortunately we lost 1in shipping 1 to the dogs (just wanted to play with it :-( ) and 1 that just went to sleep and didn't wake up... But so far the others are healthy and growing like weeds! They are such dears with sweet personalities and funny chicken antics I'm so happy I finally was able to get them!! They really are chicken TV
