Nice dogs every one,
I really like those chicks you hatched Kev,
Gona have to keep us updated as they grow.

I'm still looking for a buff rock cock if any one know of one please let me know, I'll drive all the way to CA if I have too.

I really need to get me some buff NN

Oct 26 I'm going to be showing white, red, black and blue Naked Necks.

These year will be a record for me as I'm going to be showing 11 beautiful NNs

I can already see the peoples faces when I bring them in HAHAHA

if they used to stare at me before when I was showing 2 just imagine.

But I'm determined to bring the nakedness back to the show.

Good luck at the show Nava! Let us know how you do!

HellBender, I picked up a cheap samsung at walmart and it actually takes some pretty nice pictures. I seen your son is in the Marines. Thank him for serving! I had 2 boys in the Marines that are both out now. The oldest did 2 tours in Iraq and the younger son did 1 tour in Iraq.

NewToFarming, the one I'm getting is Fuji @ $225.00

Thank you for your kind words about my son and the same

respect and appreciation for yours.

Edit: Saturday evening...camera in hand! I will try to get pics and or vid. tomorrow.

It's promising to be an exceptionally beautiful day here in the Mt. State! When the grass dries off, I'll go 'turkin hunting'.

I've been admonished that they are referred to as Naked Necks on this thread but If no one else objects, I'll call them

what I please.

My grand dad called them 'skint necks', or just plain 'skints'. but I knew what he meant.

I'll try to get as many colorful birds as I can but it's going to be impossible to avoid getting pics of Austrtalorps in

the pics since the flocks are mixed and I have never seen any clickish behavior by any of them, unlike humans...

(That's a joke)

I've learned more about color genetics of poultry from Kev and others since I've been lurking

but I am very surprised at the amount of color in many of the 'hybrids' since I have always crossed turkens over

australorps and I just might break with tradition and cross some A's over T hens this coming spring!

I like to call them Turkens or Churkeys is funny to say. I think people try to use naked necks because Turken makes people think they are turkey crosses.
how big are your largest roos? You have been breeding many generations have you been sellecting for large breasts and body size?

Call them what you will, all the same to me

But try to find those buffs, then I might come over to pick some up.
