so today i bought 25 pullets to help with the roosters. i dont think 2 hens and 5 roosters are ideal. hope this will calm them down when the chicks are ready to be with them.

 LoL still all new to me, Thanks for explaining, would the genes be weaker Inbreeding tho ?

Not necessarily. It can almost strengthen your genes sometimes. Too close of a breeding for too long will get you in trouble(brother x sister for multiple generations) .

Hi! I think so, maybe. All their eggs I've hatched the last few weeks have had nice dark skin / combs. I'd hate to offer them as Fms and them not be *right*. Hopefully, the Naked Neck Fm Green-Eggers will be *stable* this generation also.

I think I may need to rename Audra since she no longer has the "devil horned" comb, she now has just a single horn wonder if there is some cool word for unicorn. Her flock mated "polled" her and took the one horn off

Well my rooster finally decided to give me a try today. He waited until I had my back to him and he ran and hit my leg. Mostly felt the impact of the hit and no hurt. Instant reflex kicked in and I gave a new name (not nice and can't say it on here) with a good swift kick. I also told him (yes I talk to my chickens like they are somebody) that I have enough roosters around here and I can still make Naked Necks without him.
