Becky, If you don't see frizzle, then they didn't inherit the gene and don't carry it.

I'm waiting to see how these turn out. The splash NNFGE rooster I'm using has huge wattles. So the children probably will too --- but I don't know for sure.

Hey Lisa,
Went to the poultry show today in GA. Met up with hardinpoultry and got some BLRW eggs from her! Can't wait to set them! Also got some nice dark eggs (Wheaten Marans - Bev Davis line) from another person. Then we were looking at the Salmon Favorelles that were being judged. While there, a lady came to water and feed her Favorelle hen. I was asking her questions about the Favorelles when the hen laid an egg. I commented on how cute the pinkish egg was so she ended up giving it to me... she said it was probably fertile! Yea! Always wanted a favorelle! So, then DH and I were walking around and we came upon a man selling FBCM eggs (12 for $75!) Well, at the time my DH was eating some Girl Scout Cookies we had just bought. The man was hungry so he bartered one FBCM egg for 3 cookies! hahahha! I think I will also add 2 of my own EE/Marans mix eggs to see if I get an olive egger! (Not sure they are fertile, but we will see!) So, I have a nice mix for my little home incubator! Hurray!

You can show her, but I don't think she is a recognized color.
Black,buff,white and red are the recognized colors

But go ahead and show her she's pretty I've shown my splash pullet she did not win but still felt good to put her out there.

We need more people taking their NNs to shows

Hi everyone I have just gotten some NNs & have a NN rooster for free anyone want him I'm near Idabel Oklahoma He was given to me but fights with my other rooster (he has only one eye but in good health was like this when I got him)

What an interesting mix he is! Looks like maybe game fowl in the genetic soup????

When I first got this girl.Was curious what was in her mix .So now I know there is easter egger in the mix.She has started laying green eggs.So easter egger and naked neck and some type of crested breed are part of her mix.Have a few of her eggs in the incubator and some under a broody.I have her with my frizzle polish rooster.What percentage of chicks will I get from a non -naked neck mated with a naked neck with a bow tie?Here are a couple of pics of the frizzle polish rooster she is being mated to.

Are you sure it isn't crested legbar in her lineage????? That would explain the crest and egg color all in one fell swoop.


I went and looked up pics of them her color and top knot type look very similar to me.
