Naked Neck/Turken Thread

My son adores naked neck chickens. I admit I resisted their allures but was finally won over. We had one, our beloved Gussie, whom he would carry under his arm around the yard. We'd very often admire her full crop. I would laughingly say that Gussie would put rouge on it to enhance he beauty. A few years ago she died. My son was so upset. (He still talks about her.). This year he was ready to pick another naked neck from our local feed and seed. He choose a black one and a buff one (like Gussie). These birds, of course, were sexed. Or so we thought.

Now we have one lusty buff naked neck roo trying to dominate the hen house. Granted, he's big and beautiful, but we have so many Roos, and have been lucky they somehow all get along.

Well this roo was named Susan, but now we call him Sue after the Johnny Cash song.

We're looking for a good home for Sue. He's well formed, healthy, and strong. He doesn't fight. He just crushes our cream legbars and silkies. He's a big guy.

If you know of anyone who can give him a home, please message me.

Thanks.
I hope you can find a great home for Sue. They dif aren't fighters but sure are big lovers .

Ed is just the coolest Roo, he makes this head move when I talk to him it's so funny, I am very thankful he is so laid back because at his size he could put a hurtin on just about anything we have here except my geese. even me. LOL and he has a following now, 2 of the BA's are following him around. I think he's happy.
