Naked Neck/Turken Thread

I am so sorry if I am repeating myself all over this site but I have never used a thread forum blog thing We are searching for show quality turkens that meet the standard of Perfection for my daughter's 4h project. Does anyone out there have chicks or know of some one who does? I was trying to avoid getting the potluck mix from a hatchery and hoping a couple would be show quality. We love the turken personality but don't have any right now except an accidental cookoo maran mix hen and a buff silkie mix hen. Both are fabulous women but we need someone the judges would like . Thanks for your help and I am truly enjoying all the great pics! Frizzles are awesome! Great work on the projects !

Here are some of my FM project birds. I could not get them to load right side up sorry. This is an f3 roo and has some of the strongest FM so far in a roo but he is only 6 months old. It looks a lot darker in person.I hope to get a good FM naked neck roo because any red will really show up on them. I want them to have modified pea combs and no waddles but right now I am focusing on FM.

I'll get you some good ones as quick as possible. Are you willing to accept fertile eggs though? Cause, I don't have a good incubator and really don't feel like spending money to get a good one. I have small flocks so there's no point in getting a good $600+ incubator. I just let the broody hen do the job or let the breeder do the job.

My coop is not insulated and very open aired b/c I worry more about summer then winter, my NN were out in the cold, icy, wet winters we have here in Oklahoma.

these are such pretty pictures, the ice on the trees and everything else looks so pretty.

Yaaaay, 13 new Naked Neck chicks hatched yesterday. First chicks hatched since that NASTY NASTY ice storm and 5-days-without-power.
(That ice might look pretty, but it is nasty in person!)
