HI there! Congratulation on your Naked Neck! I've been raising them for about a year and a half. occasionally I've had a rooster get too " carried away" and hurt the neck on the hen.but in most of my cases it healed with no problems, If you do get one that wont heal or other chickens pick on the wound. you can get Blue Cote (sp) and that is supposed to help. I've not used it (yet) but have heard a lot of good things about it. I do put some wound ointment on them if they are really bad. I'm a Young Living Essential Oil Enthusiast and so i put the Animal Scents Ointment on it, if it needs anything. heals like a charm! Good Luck with your chickens!
