Naked Neck/Turken Thread

You know, I don't really need all this living space - maybe I can convert the office into coop space.... and maybe the den...

And who really needs to park their car in the garage?

You know...joking about living space aint funny guys...hence the bedroom at the end of my hallway that is now the "hatch & delivery/nursery/neonatal icu" for my chicks....bahahaha, yep it aint funny...its INSANE!!!!! It works wonderfully. Lol

Haha for years the second bedroom was the incubator/hatcher and brooder room....

it was pretty nice to spoil the little babies in there when it was too dark to do anything outside...

My "office"...as yet unfinished...was converted into my hatchery a year ago. The incubator stays in there and I keep the babies in there for up to three weeks...or when my guys won't stop complaining about the smell. (Seriously...I'm the one home with them almost all day. I don't know why they gripe so much.)

(DesertChic, I WISH I had a garage - though if I did, I'd probably have rabbits by now. Renovation, I swear it'll all be taken care of when I renovate...)

You know, I think that for every pretty chicken I've ever seen, I've thought, "Boy, that sure would look even better with a naked neck..."

:thumbsup

I do that too. Just this morning I posted it on the Easter Hatch A Long Thread about an Iowa Blue hen @Hurley posted. Very pretty hen.

I even think a naked neck version of these need to be made: :cd :jumpy
