Picked up a bantam naked neck cockerel to pair with my naked neck hens. He's quite pretty. Although, my neighbors may not be enjoying his broken crowing as much as I am lol

He's very pretty! I love a really good crow. I have one bird in my flock right now with a really, really good crow....and I have a few that sound like screaming banshees.

Oh, his is so broken. Sounds like someone punched him in the family purse mid crow lol I've got several crowers right now. Hoping to be rid of 3 of them by the end of the week. Can't keep them all, fortunately.

Need help sexing this one. Large comb and wattles, but taking time in nest box fluffing it. Approx. 4 months old I'm guessing. One of it's hatch mates is crowing already. Part of me says roo...but I do have some hens (unrelated) with huge combs and wattles.

That looks like a pullet to me. It does have a rose comb so it makes it a bit harder for me to sex by the picture. I don't see any hackle or saddle feathers though.

Oh Thank You Draye for the quick reply. I sure hope so, I want to make more Naked Necks. It's one of my favorites either way!

Hope you're enjoying your pickeled eggs...I know I am!
