That's funny, I just wish Pete would crow at 4:15 and be DONE. Instead, he crows at 4:15, and at 5:15, and at 6:15... and every hour until 10. Unfortunately, he also wakes the cat, who sits on my windowsill squalling for breakfast. So! I'm usually thinking "shut UP, Pete, your gonna wake the cat!" LOL

Not supposed to have roosters, but, I keep mine until they start to breed, then..they find out that they can make this wonderful sound that comes from themselves...off and on all day. At least I get a few fertile eggs. Still waiting for that rooster that won't want to crow all day. My neighbors swear they either can't hear it, or the ones East of us says, we don't mind! Well, Someone could mind. So, off they go. I have a barred baby NN boy out there..should get a photo of him. . . Hoping he is the one to be more on the quiet side. I've put collars on my others too, like I said works for a while..not NN's though. Haven't tried that..so not sure this will work. Anyway, one rooster figured out to crook his neck sideways to get that beautiful sound of his out alll the way. The others just sing through it, with all of their power.
