There is some after care that is ness. to follow precisely. One of the reasons he started decrowing them and mailing them when their new voice settled. I have heard of a vet in Phoenix who does this procedure, but w/o as much success. There may be other vets around that do the surgery, this vet has made new and improved tools for more success and less deaths.Wow, he is quiet. I have a friend who had one done..I'm honestly not sure if was done in our state..which I doubt..or where it was. He didn't work out as well as this guy. He was more quiet, but still had quite a crow. Darling big Frizzle boy.
This little one I have in the brooder now, the baby that I just showed..is one that I would love to keep for a while..if it's a boy. And if it's a girl.So sweet! Those funny long legs! I am going to name it Pippy as someone suggested here. I've been calling it that..best be a girl I guess. I guess if it turns out to be a boy, I can call him Piper.
Would love for a surgery to work on a couple of roosters. Two roosters..how would it be? I want a silkie rooster too.
