I've been following this topic with interest.. perhaps if there is enough interest, be nice to either continue it or link to where it'd be discussed?

I suppose I can create a new thread lol. I was holding out before, to do an article on mine. Let me do a search and make sure nothing else similar exists and if that's the case, I'll make a thread and post back here.

Here's the new thread - https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/1153780/igloo-cooler-waterer-discuss

@Kev

white patterned gold duckwing
Is this the same as Red Pyle?

Yeah- dominant white on a red/gold duckwing. It affects mainly black pigments,leaving the red/gold pigments mostly unaffected.

p.s. want me to ask on FB about show standard types? Ed Harworth is in your group.. I'd hope for and would be curious as to his answer..

Try asking Ed Haworth on facebook- he shows and I believe has won competitions with his NN and has dealt with a lot of judges, so he would be a much better source for this question. I'd love to hear what he says..

@Kev

Which chicken breed is the shape of a NN supposed to be most like? A Plymouth Rock?

Such a good question. The ones my neighbor got from Privett Hatchery (NM) were enormous size, kind of fan shaped tails. Loved their overall shape, build, structure! Would be interesting to know there "show standard" being as I see so many variations from the crosses.

I may soon be able to make these. If I can just get me a white or Partridge cockerel. I'm hatching until they stop selling.
