Naked Neck/Turken Thread

I wanted to ask everyone about something.
I’ve heard that Naked Neck chickens have a resistance to disease.
That they are resilient and either don’t catch the illness or they don’t get it as bad and don’t die from it when others do.
So far, in my flock, I have found this to be true.
Elwood caught the illness and he stopped crowing for a week or two.
He would rest and sleep more and didn’t try to breed as much.
Then he started crowing again and is fine.
My 3 Naked Neck hens haven’t gotten sick either but then, neither have many of the others. I have about 35 chickens.
What do you guys think?

in my experience they are somewhat harder than the other breeds.

I love my Nn! It's so nice knowing that when it's time to process for the table its only half the plucking. Oh they are funny birds and I love the color possibilities! My green egg laying Nn are some of my favorite birds!

I mean who wouldn't fall in love with that adorable face?
