I have two bantam NN hens. I got them from Dunlap Hatchery here in Idaho. I do believe they ship chicks too

I'm afraid to have chicks shipped. I know people do it all the time but everytime I start to put an order in, I chicken out!

I’ve done it a couple of times from Meyer Hatchery. It turned out great. I lost one after two weeks but it just failed to thrive. Not a hatchery issue.
I know shipped chicks need to be warmed up right away. If you could go in on an order with someone that might help because you could have more in the box for warmth. Most hatcheries send them with a heat pack in the box. Unfortunately, Dunlap doesn’t sex their Nn bantams. I ordered 6 and got 3 females and 3 males. One cockerel turned out beautiful, with a buff color and reddish wings and a rose comb.
I named him Peewee.
My two hens that survived are Teeny and Chiquita (Chi-Chi).

Gwenyth's out of Dunlap as well, from hatching eggs! Can't say I'd ever recommend getting hatching eggs from them, though, as they packaged the eggs SIDEWAYS instead of air cell up and the air cells were wrecked on every one of those eggs--I feel lucky that I got even one to hatch!

That’s really disappointing. I would expect better from a hatchery that’s been around as long as they have.

My Brown Red NN x Cornish cross girl. I just love her! She lays me big brown eggs!

Jerry. My very first chicken. He’s 4 years old, will be 5 in April.

My paint NNs daughter. She got attacked by a dog so her feathers aren’t all in yet. She’s medium sized. I hope to breed her offspring down to bantam sized
