I'm about to add two Naked Neck hens to my flock, which includes a Twentse rooster. If he decided to mate with them, wouldn't they get an open wound since a rooster usually grabs the neck feathers when mating?

No. My rooster usually grabs the top of the head or the body of the hen if the hen is a naked neck

their neck is tough. I had NNs with smaller wounds and did nothing about that.

Hi! I still just have my one hen, Gwenyth, but I just tried setting one of her eggs last weekend and it doesn't appear to be developing at this point. Best I could possibly do for hatching eggs is out of my silkied Cochins, but fertility is looking pretty spotty in them so far this year, too. Hope you can find something for your girly to hatch!
