Hi Naked Neck fans! Got my first barred Naked Neck chick in the brooder. She (*fingers crossed she*) is from blue barred Rock X black giant cross NN green-egger hen --- so she should be a big girl. Clean legs, red-skin, and black w/ headspot... yaay!
Got a NN chick from my NN Frizz green-egger pen this week, too.

Check out my " Naked Neck Batam Frizzled Cochin Boy"!!!

We are convinced that his girlfriend prefers her men to be "Naked Necks"!!! instead of Bantam Frizzles! She started "styling/plucking his feathers" like this during one the the snowstorms this winter and now she just "maintains" his look for him!

Ok girls..this is what "hen pecked" looks like!!!

...it's a sad sad state of affairs!!!

Hi! Here are the Naked Neck chicks from last weeks hatch:

2 splashes and 2 blues from the NN Frizz green-egger pen and the barred from the black NN x blue Barred Rock.

Got more hatching right now! I see 2 NN chicks in there so far.
