Do a Punnett square. Google it and you should figure out how to make one. Use N for pure "NN" and "n" for nonpure. Having said that, I've read NN is incomplete dominance, which muddies the picture. I think you can eventually get a pure NN by breeding even bow ties together. I don't claim to be up on genetics, so I flounder with the best of you.

I do not understand it all either but I was told that it is better to breed Homozygous to Hetrozygous than to breed Homozygous to Homozygous and Hetrozygous to Hetrozygous, but now I can't remember why.
I have three pure NN's.

Many Showgirl breeders practice this, but mostly because Silkies improve type and many people prefer the bowties.

I got my NN from someone who said she got her from a woman living in Del Mar. Is that anyone here? No reason, other than I'm just curious where she came from .. I love her and need more now!!

We have extremely cold and snowy weather here in Wales at the moment and my NNs have the reddest necks ever at the moment.
