oooo they are all sweet looking babies, especially the NN. And the mom is absolutely gorgeous. What do you call that patterning ?

Shhhhh don't tell the people on the Marans thread but I just hatched out some NN 3/4 Marans!! One white and one in Black copper....

The funny thing was I sold my adult NN a while back (4 weeks ago) and my hubby said What?? How in the world are you still getting Turkens?!?! I just told him a little Turken goes a loooong way!!

Actually I only set eggs on Sundays so they were the last of the hens eggs. Just when I started missing them........

Shhhh I just set some Marans crosses also haha Why did you sell your NN ? They are wonderful birds both LF and bantams.

Flower...the big mama is a Dark Brahma hen. I think her marking is called pencilling. She is very large and very friendly. She hatched 3 eggs and I took a further 6 from the incubator and placed them in front of her. She raised her huge body and they were immediately adopted.

NN Marans should be very interesting.Pictures, please when you have hatched, or from anybody who already has some.

Hey, does the color of legs of turkens tell anything about the genes or the color of the neck, and the amount of bowtie I have blue or slate legs, yellow, white, gold some with bowtie's high on the neck, low on the neck, fullwrap a rounds and 2 with 1 or 2 feathers and 2 completely naked. I have a rednecked roo white with bronze and gold feet can u help me????
