Dipsy Doodle Doo, your NN with the strange comb has a pretty face.

My Jurassic chicks also have odd combs. They are a line of three crests....doesn't show that well on the pic.

But here's a couple more to show that they continue to have ridiculous 'hair do's' and are still growing very fast.(but they are friendly)

Hi Krista! They have Silkie in their background. They started with a Silkie x Naked Neck cross (for dark skin and naked neck) and I added Frizzle Cochin (for frizzle), Ameraucana (blue egg gene), Jersey Giant (size) in the next generations.
They didn't inherit naked neck, frizzle, or blue egg gene, but they have black skin and nice size --- the black girl is 5.5 lbs amd the blue girl is just over 6 lbs.

is the chick that hatched soso naked in this pic

Right now, it's kind of random --- some red skin, some dark skin.

This frizzle NN green-egger chick started out with really dark skin

His body skin is still dark, but his neck/head/comb has gotten redder as he matured.

and a younger single comb splash NN girl (from a different mating).

I love everyone's pics of their NNs! I got my first NNs this spring, some from Rural King and some from Ideal. I am so glad I did, as they are such friendly birds. I have 6 that !are red, and 1 black. I also have 3 white SGs. Can't wait until next spring to start breeding!
