Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Hello
Out of sheer curiosity - how do your Ibizans do with the chickens and ducks? As a sighthound - do they want to chase them?

The chickens and Ibizans are kept separate. I hunt my dogs so they view the chickens as a prey item. Any bird that goes over the 6ft fence into the dog yard is fair game. I do let my two senior citizen Ibizans out with the poultry just because they don't care about prey anymore. They like to just putter around out there and enjoy being outside where the younger hounds aren't going to bother them.

Here are some of mine. None of them were cooperating to well for pictures!

I just heard the first attempts at crowing on this one. I thought for sure it would be a pullet due to the black skin. It is an F1 silkie/NN cross.

Love Love LOVE all the pics!

I'm just about to move a bunch of pol NN girls out of the 'juvenile pen' into their own groups --- the cockerels are getting their hormones and being pesky. If anybody is close enough and needs a NN boy, I have several that need new homes (blues, blacks, and barred, some frizzled, most carry the blue egg gene). I'll get pics if anybody might be interested and able to pick up.
