Just one more! She's like a high fashion model. She looks best when she finds her light and the right angle.

Yep, especially if she is from a backyard hobbyist. NN mixed with other breeds is very common from private persons, not so much from hatchery stock. The reason is because the naked neck gene is dominant so crosses will throw chicks with NN and they often get sold as turkens or NN as if they're "purebred". Check her comb, if she has pea, she's NN mixed with either EE, Amer or Araucana. Just in case, check the combs on other hens if they have pea...

I do have typical looking NN with single combs that lay colored eggs but that's a very uncommon combination(single comb & colored eggs).

THanks Kev--I checked her this morning....straight comb! I will take some pics tomorrow. THe only other bird in there with a pea comb is the Wheaten Am. THe others are Blue Andalusian (white pointy egg) Buckeyes ( brown oval eggs) Welsummer (dark speckled egg) and Cuckoo Marans (chocolate egg) So is she something special that she has a straight comb and lays blue eggs? Just wondering...thinking about breeding her to my cuckoo NN to see what I get!
