If it wasn't for your second post you'd have to shovel it thrice. After shoveling our driveway twice by hand, the previously mentioned 2700 sq.ft. one, I reminded myself that about two years ago, before I retired, a snowblower was one of the final big purchase I wanted to make. Well, we just shoveled the driveway twice by hand.
Actually did do it three times. Skimmed the last minute inch of snow off to let the sun hit the asphalt. If it wasn't for your second post you'd have to shovel it thrice.
My chickens haven't been out of their coop since Friday. The door to their run is open 24/7 but as soon as they see one snowflake fall, they head for the coop like the sky is falling. I need to get them some straw or something. Maybe they will venture out if they don't have to walk on the scary snowVisited the chickens for the third time today, opened the run to give them a chance to run for the hills in the snow.....no takers. Overdosed them on vegetable peels, sunflower seeds and BSFL, removed temporary snow block put up yesterday, cut my thumb on sharp edge of HWC I missed, collected third egg today. Feeling bad for chickens not able, nor willing, to run the property.
