Have you ever pickled your asparagus? We do it "crispy," like with pickled green-beans. Both are delicious!

No, I haven't done that. I'll have to ask hubby if that sounds good. We don't get a lot of asparagus from our bed, so I don't know if he'd want to use some for that.

I need to plant some more asparagus crowns!

I haven't made pickled asparagus, but I've eaten some made by a friend. The stalks were about pencil-width and done like a sweet pickle. She did dill, too, with green beans ... awesome!
 
Yesterday I went to work, washed towels for work, at home. Our plumbing is backing up and they won't fix it until the end of the school year so we have no bathroom and no washing machine. I put a clear coat of water sealer stuff on the prefab coop for one of my girls, she'll go in it today
