Didn’t check the weather before trying to paint the door…….big mess from a thunderstorm that rolled through

I continued packing boxes and sorting objects.
I loaded the van with things to give away.
I finally finished organizing the basement.

Hubby and I went to the 2025 Michigan Chicken Stock get together with other MI BYC members. Had a great time!
We both took naps after we got home.
That was most of the day.

Worked 3 dogs.
Cleaned dog pens, water pans, and feed pans
Worked two dogs.

Made a Cinnamon Crumb cake.

Ripped down 7 rows of the afghan, lost count and made a mistake.

The stray cat, that adopted us, comes up on the back porch now. She decided to hide her 2 kittens behind the porch bench for safety. I've named her Magpie.

Low 90s and a return of humidity forecast. Not sure what I'll get done. I'm going to start with a cup of coffee, and it that works out well, follow it up with another one.

Better idea of what might happen today:
Go to the store and get hubby's prescription and groceries.
Cook rice.
Pull the honey super from the hive.
Pull some weeds from the garden.

What color did you go with?

1. I got the shade cloths on and fans running in the chicken pen.
2. I will continue organizing chicken-related returns.
3. I will soon eat a bologna and pepperjack sandwich with fudge brownie ice cream for dessert.
