Today I smashed up the few red grapes I picked. I got about a half cup of juice. Not enough to make jelly. Oh well. First grape harvest.

If you're doing it with fresh apples, save your peels and cores. Boil them down & strain the solids and you have the makings for some killer apple jelly. If you have fresh mint, and a generous handful in a cheesecloth bag while you're boiling the juices ... mint jelly. Or add a cup or so of cinnamon candies (the little red-hots.)
