Name 3 Things You Did Or Will Do Today - 2025

oh, you are one of those........
Funny. I was thinking the same thing in your direction. If you don't like what people post here, there are a thousand other options - or start one of your own. Just move on, my friend, and let us play in our own little corner without judgement.

The site is chicken related but has many forums that have nothing to do with chickens. This particular thread is in the Random Ramblings forum.

The wheel of time is an AWESOME series. A co-worker turned me onto it years ago and I was immediately hooked (Who doesn't want to be Moiraine Damodred?) She didn't tell me that the series wasn't finished yet! I waited several years for the next books as they were released, then Robert Jordan died ... with half the series unfinished!
What his devotees didn't know was that he'd spent weeks on his deathbed outlining the rest of the story to his wife and designated author! The results did NOT disappoint. If anything, I think the man who finished the series (all in one massive volume) was even better! WOT is one of the few series that I've kept around and reread. If you like the beginning, you'll LOVE the finale!

EDIT to fix typo
My dad loves the book series! He found the Amazon TV adaptation to be pretty good but felt it could be better. He has several of the books that he got autographed in the early 90s and felt that Brandon Sanderson did an amazing job finishing up the series.

I'm really liking it so far, am only up to chapter 25 of book 1 at the moment. I've also read the prequel already, something my dad says that I shouldn't have done.

I fully intend to eventually read the series that Brandon Sanderson has been writing too, just need to finish up The Wheel of Time and other smaller series and other books in general that I'm reading

I think it is so cool that he was able to do that with his wife and Sanderson! It certainly helped to make it easier to finish the series when Sanderson had to take over.

Now if only someone could get George RR Martin to finish up A Song of Ice and Fire. I started to read that series but stopped during book 3 when I saw that he has no idea when he will finish the book(and lots of fans think he will never finish it).
