Aww thank you.

I had a self blue oegb hen I named Crocket because she had a rough hatch and almost didn't make it. She spent her first 36 hours in a country crock dish in the incubator so her siblings would stop grabbing at her. She survived and turned into an amazing pet and great hen! Unfortunately a year ago last fall we lost her to a mink that got into the coop. I miss my baby girl.
 
One of my very favorite hens is an EE named Pebbles she knows her name and jumps on my arm when I hold it out to cuddle and talk to me.

Gilligan became Jilligan because we had a white silkie that looked boyish and then at about 8-9 months she began laying lol it was hilarious. All the rest of our silkies were laying by 6-7 months we even had one that layed at about 5-6 months, closer to 5.
