Guess what? I went to an auction last night and found something I just had to have!!!! [IMG]

Know I am wondering if anyone knows WHAT HE IS![IMG]

He is very nice and my hens just LOVE him and he seems to love all of them as well. [IMG]

Please let me know what you think.
    Thanks [IMG]

I don't know. He is really pretty the picture doesn't do him justice. All of the feathers underneath him are lavender and all of the ones on top are black and red.[IMG]

My guess would be blue laced red wyandotte, do a search on here and I am sure some of the byc members have pictures of them.

Well, he's not a pure BLRW, not with those muffs and beard!! I would say he is just a regular old EE, which could be a mix of a number of things! Might be mixed with BLRW, but can't be pure.

Looks like a VERY pretty EE with some blue (Wyandotte or Orp?) in the wood pile somewhere. I'd LOVE to have a bird like that. I can definitely understand why you had to have him.

When the sun shines on him he is even more beautiful. I have been going outside off and on all day just to look at him![IMG]

Looks like blue rock or wyandotte crossed with ameraucana/EE. Very handsome!

It reminds me of an EE coz of all that fluff round his face.
