Name the eggs! Choose your baby to root for!

RIR, I don't normally like either. But I have one that's Bantam and she is very pretty and interested in every thing humans do! But she is not just red, all her feathers have the same sheen that a black feather would so in the right light its a green sheen on a red feather. .... She is a Christmas chicken, lol.

Yeah, I don't really think he'll try mating with them. What's his behaviour around them?

He has only spent 5 or so minutes with them outside their cage back when they were in the brooder. Otherwise he just lays near the babies. Unless Captain Hook sees him lol. Hook is a meanie booty, aka the alpha rooster. He isnt even ours. He belongs to our neighbors, but he can fly over our tall behind fence. We have a 4 foot tall fence in the back and front and its a bit taller on the sides. He just flaps on up like it's nothing. My rooster? Has to be let out the front yard. He can squeeze through the siding of the house and the fence pole but just barely. We have a post to put there just haven't done it yet bc the pullets are still small so they don't free range the front yard yet. They are in their coop/run in progress.

I love my brahmas though. Only thing I dislike is how easily the feather footies get dirty 😒

Ask your neighbor to clip his wing, I wouldn’t want someone else’s rooster in my yard violating my hens
