Same here. I was only supposed to have 12. He almost killed me when they sent 24 by accident. All I keep hearing is "What are you going to do if all 24 hatch?" (23 now). No idea! Raise them and find new homes for some of them I guess lol.

We were supposed to have a quaint little flock of 8 chickens, I currently have somewhere between 47 and 50, I haven't counted lately... and now I'm planning on hatching tons of silkies next year! My hubby is SO excited we will need to get a few replacement layers as well next year and if I get brave I want to get some meat chicks (not Cornish X though, nope nope nope). I would like to build a chicken tractor for the meat chickens plus grow out cockerels from all my hatching. Yes, I'm talking big, when it comes to actually processing said birds... I'm likely to wimp out. They're so cute and bring so much joy

No chance! The last batch hasn't even left the youngster ward yet. Although I'd REALLY like to. I'm so thankful I have Cruella. With her, my hatching obsession is kept more tame, because she goes broody every so often! By the way...how do you peeps find such amazing GIFS!?
