Totally fili and kili!! Are you going to have a gandalf? Don't do frodo unless the chick is really wimpy

Gandalf - Maybe if one of the EE is a boy - or turned out gray or white colors. Frodo didn't even come up as an option - too clean cut for these chicks!

What fun name options!

• Sonic, Dash, Rocket, Pronto, Razzle (Runner up: Speedy). If Fili and Kili will be a pain to keep straight, than I imagine Dash and Flash will be tricky too.

• If you are leaning toward Juniper from your original choices I would use Hercules (feels like a more benevolent protector for the flock than Zeus). I am really digging @Nardo 's suggestion of Xena & Hercules!

Hope you'll post your other chicks and name themes/possibilities. Mulling over naming is fun!

I'm pretty sure that the DBL are going to look really similar. Although they are straight run, so not yet sure if we have boys or how many. So, the DBL may just have to learn all the names as we may not be able to really tell them apart (girls anyway).

I love the hobbit theme! If my Hubby would let me I would probably do a Harry potter theme! Haha.

OK. So a local voter informed me that Zeus and Jupiter are essentially the same. Jupiter is a Roman God and Zeus is a Greek God, but are both male and are considered the same.

So, now the Jersey Giants top name choices are: Jupiter (male) and Juno (female). Juno is Jupiter's sister (and wife) in Roman mythology and considered to be "Queen of the gods".
