Naming of coops

Here is a Lowes playhouse converted to a home for my call ducks.. Named it Calls Cottage....

I call mine the Henway.
So I can say "I've got to go check on the henway"
and my friends say "what's a henway?"
And I say "about 5 pounds."

It's an old joke from my grandpa's era. But it still holds up today

We were intending to have only hens. DH brought home an old blue and white restroom sign for the door as a joke, so of course our coop is "The Ladies Room". We do have a roo in the Ladies Room as well, but he can't read, so it's OK.​

We call our the Coop Mahal-mainly in reference to the cost.

Our coop is "The Locker Room" as we've named our girls after Roller Derby Queens:

Team Easter Egger is Coco Motion, Messy Jessy & Voodoo Lilly
Team Rhode Island Red is Strawberry Crush and Turbo Trixie

Found an old pair of metal roller skates at a garage sale and they hang on one end of the coop.
