From what I've researched, Nankins are very hardy birds that should be able to withstand climates such as your's. I have no experience with cold temperatures, though, so talking to someone who raises bantams in the north should help you out.
I got into Nankins back in '08 from reading an article on the Backyard Poultry Magazine. It was enough to entice me into purchasing some of these tiny guys.
I want to buy some Nankins. I do not know anyone in my local area with them. Who would be a good person to buy some from? I think they are some of the most adorable bantams I have seen. They are truly cute.
