Ayam Cemani won't scare the kids but a SHAMO certainly would.

I would suggest Showgirls (type of silkie but with naked neck or bow tie of feathers at mid neck). All other great silkie traits.

Also Appenzeller Spitzhauben, Lavender Orpingtons
