Native American Heritage Anyone?

Thats Horrible Mandalina....and for me...somewhat uncommon and unexpected. Its usually the darker people that claim the mixed bloods.
In my experience...the European Americans can never quite get used to the darkness amongst them and blame all their bad behavior on their mixed savage ethnicity.

But I always expected there might be a hard hearted grandma or granpa out there. Sorry for that. The rest of us accept you however.

My DH is 1/4 Houmas Indian from mother's side, father of European descent
My Dad is 1/8 Cherokee from Father's side; his mother was Irish
My Mother is 1/16 Cree or Blackfoot (family doesn't remember which tribe for certain)

CRTRLOVR,

Take a look at this..

the 19th century poetry and writing of Yuchi author James Roane Gregory.

There is one writing from him called

Traditions of the Creeks:story of their trek from Mexico

my husband is part Ute from the 4 Corners. My first hubs Leonard was half Rosebud Lakota, & I'm just plain Irish/German mix

I am 1/4 Mi'kmaq (MicMac), and I also have Seneca, and Penobscott blood (I think it's either an 1/8 or 1/16, not a huge amount). Unfortunately I have no tribe affiliation of any sort

I just found out my birth mother is half Navajo!

She was adopted out of Arizona and moved to Wisconsin.
