Oregano has been shown to have antiseptic properties. They have isolated four principal components that are active antibacterials. Thymol, carvacrol, transcarpophyllene, α-humulene. These components were isolated as the active antibacterial components of oregano.
Look up the types of plants that contain them, it may help you plant beneficial plants for a garden too. But hops, wine, tequilla, tobacco there are some vices too lol.
