I tried my luck this evening. I struggled to find it until well after sunset. It was visible naked eye for a short period of time then it got too low on the horizon. I haven't shot astro in months and I was super rusty setting up the tracking mount and didn't get a very good alignment. Missed focus too on the wide angle shot, lol. I'm going to shoot this pretty much every other day for the rest of the week and try and perfect it. Very cool seeing it though. I'm going to bring some binoculars next time too. I shot 100mm on a FF and that was pretty ideal for a landscape shot with the tail. I'm probably going to do 100-200mm on a crop body on the tracking mount next time for a little tighter shot.
