So far, so good! The pink eggs are happily nestled in for lockdown. How are things progressing with our Natur Theme incubator?
So far, so good! The pink eggs are happily nestled in for lockdown.I’m going to be giving the humidity a little top up later this afternoon! Tomorrow is day 20 so I’ll be on pins and needles. SO excited to hopefully see babies hatch, and hoping one of the Polish is a frizzle!
Iris (the Ameraucana) is by herself in the incubator to keep fluffing up. I’m honestly surprised she lasted even an hour, but we’re going to do everything we can to take care of all of her needs even if she does not end up making it long with us.
The other babies that hatched are being little rambunctious trouble makers in the brooder. They are the picture of health, and little Tomato is a total goofball. He gets so excited when I come in and will run around in wild little circles until stopping to dive under my hand to cuddle against it!
Indeed, we do!! Of every single one!We need some pics of these fluffy little trouble makers!![]()
He sounds positively adorable!Tomato is a total goofball. He gets so excited when I come in and will run around in wild little circles until stopping to dive under my hand to cuddle against it!
Oh so sweet!!!
Excellent job on the wet cloth, this will definitely help keep the humidity up!Humidity jumped down to 55% somehow, and wasn't going back up, so I slipped a wet cloth in there. I hate opening it when there's pips, but I figured getting it up there a good bit should hopefully prevent any shrink-wrapping. C'mon, Belladonna! Please hatch safe and at your own pace, you don't have to rush out.![]()
