Hello everyone, I have been raising many different animals for harvest, AND, somewhat pets ! I started out a few years ago building my very small, coop and fence covered run, between 2 buildings. I first started with 4 Goldenlaced Wyondots, which were beautiful birds, but I had trouble with 2 becoming broody, and I tried everything, trying to break them,to no avail ! They all went into the freezer that fall ! I now have 4 Easter Eggers, as they are known to very seldom become broody! They are just now starting to lay eggs !

Is that a Cairn Terrier in your picture? I'm not the best at dog breeds, but I figured I could handle embarrassing myself a little bit if I'm wrong.

Easter Eggers are great chickens! Mine have only given me brown eggs, though. What about yours?
