Near Seattle...hens not laying yet?

Hi all--I live just a tad north of Seattle and I have seven one year old hens. None of 'em have started laying yet (this year)---anyone in this area have ladies that are producing? Seems odd to me.

They need 14 hours of light and good feed...make sure you aren't giving too much scratch.

Some of mine are laying but this is their pullet year.

I'm in Everett/Mill Creek area and all six of my Barred Rock pullets are laying daily. I also have a light on a timer that comes on in my hen house at 7am and turns off at 7pm.

I have 14 hens that hatched in May/June of 2013. I have 3 of my May hens and 2 of my June hens laying almost daily. However none of them laid until they were 34+ weeks.

I let them free range but do not use any lighting in the coops.

Time change is in a few weeks so I imagine things will pick up even more.
