I went. Brought 8 pullets. There were 300+ boxes of birds! Auction didn't end until 4:30.

Any pheasants there?Deerfield was a bust.I can't believe how low of a turn out.I doubt if there was 50 people there.Don't know if it was the weather or no interest.I did manage to sell a pair of yellow goldens,so it wasn't a total lose.I usually sell quite a few birds there.but no one showed up.How sad!

are you talking about the deerfield show? i know that the maine people had it cut pretty close if they could show with losing our AI tester and getting a new one trained etc, we had about 5 days from test time to show day and had to fax info etc. this might have been part of it.

Go to www.neasociety.com.Never mind,I thought you were talking about the NAS meeting.The topsfield auction is held once a year.I believe it is 1 week after the fair ends,but I am not positive.The NAs meeting is once a month,the first sun of the month.They do have a small auction and sales in the parking lot,meeting inside.
