I also noticed the buff keeps stretching out her leg and wing, not sure if I need to be worried or not, but she does it quite often

Thanks! The only place near me that sells chicks is that place and TSC, but TSC doesn't seem to take good care of their chicks eitherI’m so sorry that you are having such a terrible experience! You are doing such a great job with caring for your fuzz babies. I highly suggest buying your next brood of chicks from a different hatchery or breeder. Bear hugs to you!![]()
She's still running around and trying to jump out, not lethargic, just laid a bit odd. May of been that my grandma had used parchment paper for the bedding while I was gone. Switched it as soon as I got home

I'll send one in the morning when she is more activeI'm glad you changed out the parchment paper - that is too slick for chicks, it can cause them to splay their legs.
If you have a video of the chick that is stretching that would be good. Some chicks just stretch like we do. They flap around, stretch legs/wings it could be a very normal action.
You may have to do some research, but think about ordering from a hatchery? Check with your state thread and see where most folks in your area/state get their chickens.
