Necks breaking!!

It's a large dog kennel, about 4ft by 2ft, in a wooden shed. I do have a fan near them, but not pointed directly at them. It's actually pointed at me, I sleep by them incase they need something during the night. Here's the place they'll be moved to. I have to use shavings again in the large one because the paper towels would be too expensive. I don't think theres anything in the air that could be irritating them, I try to avoid spraying things in the house. Can you recommend anything else that could help stop the sneezing and mucus?

Maybe there is dust that the fan is blowing around?

Try turning if off for a day and see if the sneezing stops.

They should be sleeping at night...they shouldn't need anything.

Every day at 5am they wake me up to refill their food, I also noticed when the chicks started going downhill in their health, the others would chirp. Just a precaution I guess.

Why do they keep sleeping like this!!! I have their heating pad out because it's still about 85

IMHO 85 is pretty warm for chicks with that much feathering. That's also why they're not huddled together sleeping. They don't need the warmth.

Yeah, that's why I don't have the pad in right now. It's worrying seeing them on their side

Would it be safe to not use heating for the time being? I'm very worried about them getting too hot. Here's the weather for the next couple of days. I have no air conditioning except for the fan, so it'll be about the same temp, if not hotter inside

Are those pine shavings, it's hard to tell?

It would be good to get them out of your room soon. If the garage is too hot, then you will need to open that up and provide more air circulation.

They are sleeping spread out - to me it looks like they still may be too hot, especially if they are not using the heating pad at all.

Yes, it's pine. I was thinking I'd keep the shed door open during the day, with a fan in the doorway to circulate the air

Can you put a thermometer in the garage for a few days and record the highs and lows?

Being cool should not be a problem since you provide heat, but chicks have a very hard time cooling, so it's important they don't overheat.

The cage looks fine for another couple of weeks, but they will soon outgrow that too. If they are going to need to be in the garage for a while, start making plans on how to make their pen bigger. Large cardboard boxes taped together make a nice corral.
