Grrrrr...should I cancel my order? I am really scared now. I don't want to watch my birds die a slow, agonizing death nor do I want to put them to death. What to do, what to do. I woke up sooo sick to my stomach this morning.

I pick up my chicks this Saturday. I am still getting them, no second thoughts. It is not something that can be seen ahead of time. If for some reason they get sick then I will call them and get new ones. I will not hold it as thier fault for any reason. Also since so many people have called they have cleaned and disinfected so that further problems will be taken care of. Jenn

Regarding the "silence" of Murray McMurray.....
does it not occur to anyone that they are trying to find the reason behind all this? And they are responsible enough to not speculate and to wait until they have definitive answers?
What good would it do anyone here or indeed their company to come here and say "it could be t his" it could be that" and start a huge amount of gossip and rumor that starts as a speculation and gets blown up out of proportion?

Almost every instance of someone calling them in a respectful manner have said they expressed concern. What more do you want? The customer serve people are not vets and all they can do is offer what they know.

Give them a chance to figure it out before skewering them.

I invited them here to participate and quite honestly, with some of the responses I have seen, I don't know if I would bother if I were them.

If they do some and add insight, I expect that they will be treated with respect and in a friendly appreciative manner.

We have some of these chicks that seem to have recovered! So, I am thinking there may be hope. We also have some that are doing poorly still (no change or worse). Has anyone ever thought of giving colloidial silver in the water to these chicks??? We use it at home for our own family if someone gets exposed to a virus. It is very potent stuff. And since this widespread phenomena may be viral I wonder if it would be safe to give it to the chicks... Any thoughts on this???

I was wondering the same thing about the colliodeal silver, let e know if you get answers. I have been giving mine (12 days old and so far healthy) echanacea as a preventative.
