Hello, I'll be doing a necropsy on my boy Goober, who died yesterday. I'm suspecting a worm overload was the cause.
He had a distended abdomen, due to constipation, & fat, poops were green/white with blood. He was also very pale. He didn't have any lice/mites.

He was very skinny, lost tons of weight. Also going through molt.

He had a feather cyst I was looking for help to treat when he began going down hill. He was fine at the beginning. There were no other lumps.

Here's the original thread if you wanna follow up. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/tips-on-treating-a-feather-follicle-cyst.1504909/

**HUGS** So sorry to hear about Goober's demise. It sucks when our fids pass on, especially to illness :( . Tell us the result of the necropsy. I'm eager to know!
I will be sharing pictures of the organs, just in case I miss anything. I'm going to go through them all as throughly as possible.

I'll post back, right before we start.

It may take awhile to post pictures, & explain what I'm seeing. But I'll post as quickly as I can.
Take your time. Get clear pictures when you first open him up.
