Necropsy(Goober)

Heading out to do the necropsy.

Liver, it has odd black edges. Normal size, & color.

Gizzard looks normal. It has fat globules.

Full picture of all the organs. Has these weird fluid filled sacks.

Stomach was thickened, & hard. Thinking stomach cancer.

His heart is pale. It's more pale then what it appears in the picture.

Here's a note. He had some fluid in the abdomen, but it wasn't alot.

Almost forgot. His testicles were gray, & abit shriveled.

I didn't get pictures, I was getting cold out there.

It also seems his body was completely drained of blood. Unless it all ended up in his stomach.

That was the stomach. I have everything labeled. It's abnormally thickened, & hardish. It was bloated with air/gas, just like I see in deer.

You mean the crop? Chickens don't have a stomach. Have you looked at the inside of the intestines? The crop contents don't look right, did it smell bad? I'm wondering if there was a blockage lower down, or digestion slowed or stopped due to something there.
