need a female pekin

my male pekin has lost his mate to illness. Does anyone have a female out there for sale or adoption ? He is 8 months old and she was just begining to lay eggs. He is lost without her.

a little out of the way, we are in new hasrtford ct which is litchfeild county. To bad, he is so sad.

sorry have bunches but im in virginia... call the local 4-h extension office.. has helped me out in cases like this.. can also buy at county fairs... but wrong time of year.. however the 4-h agents often know locals who sell. best of luck!!! dana
